Our philosophy

La boucle étourdie was born to share the belgian creators' knowhow, as well as their imagination. Therefore, we work in a complete respect way toward the creation and his creator.

Our goal

We mainly focus on developing the belgian creation's sector. However, we also want to remind us of the real object ; the undisposable and durable one.

Nowadays, the man lives in a world in which everything seems to be as worthy as a tissue that we throw... BUY AND THROW ! That is the message we get through medias, publicities,... Numerous multinationals give us the opportunity to assemble furniture on our own, certainly at an affordable price but they are single-use (say Hi to waste !)

This way of life drive us to the exploitation of our neighbours from the developing countries. This is the main reason why all of our store furniture will exclusively be recycled (salvaged products with a new look in box, for example).

Our values

We are so concerned to point out how it is crucial to respect the environment, even by small step, as the painting's choice for the store's walls, the using of economical bulbs or the choice of a computer system of low-energy.

We also are in favour of the Open Source. Every single visual created for the store has been made by free software as Inkscape (edition of vectoriel graphism), The Gimp (pictures retouching) and Scribus (layout). We use the free exploitation system Debian. The website is under/on Linux Servor and is propulsed thanks to the CMS Open Source Joomla!
